What is the Kaithi script?
Kaithi is an old script in which land papers in Bihar — khatian, kewala, rent receipts, hukumnama — were written until the mid-20th century. Few people can read it today, so old papers have to be read into Hindi to be understood.
How do I get an old Kaithi khatian or deed read in Hindi?

Can old Urdu deeds be read too?
